Sarah is a freelance comic artist, writer, cover artist, colorist, and art educator from Maryland. Credits include their graphic memoir “Monstrous: A Transracial Adoption Story"* (First Second Books), “TMNT / Usagi Yojimbo : WhereWhen” series (Variant Cover Artist), "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vs Street Fighter" comic series (colorist), "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Saturday Morning Adventures" #1-4 (Colorist & Variant Cover Artist), “MAKER COMICS: Create a Costume!”, “Asian American Exclusion” in the “Votes for Women Comic Anthology”** (Writer, Artist), and “Hello Kitty & Friends Coloring Book” from VIZ Media (Illustrator).
They taught Drawing I & II, and Color Theory & Application courses as an adjunct professor of Foundation Studies at Savannah College of Art and Design for 3 years.
